Lost in the Agafay desert, made of stones and sand an hour's drive from Marrakech, is "Terre des étoiles". In this eco-lodge entirely turned towards nature, we forget our watch, social networks and we open up a little more to what surrounds us. We take the time to savor and admire the horizon that stretches as far as the eye can see. In front of you, nothing comes to block your gaze when the sun performs its dance at sunrise and sunset. In pictures, 3 reasons to stay at "Terre des étoiles".
- FOR PERFECT COMMUNION WITH NATURE
Very concerned about protecting its environment, the camp is self-sufficient. The water served is extracted from the ground, filtered, drinkable and above all recycled for the irrigation of the garden. Solar panels are there to provide lighting. And on the restaurant's plate, each product comes from the organic vegetable garden that you can visit. Dreamers will let the first rays of the sun of the day tickle their feet at breakfast served on the large terrace and will not fail later to observe the Milky Way, lying on one of the mats.
2. TO MAKE DESERT RHYME WITH COMFORT
Who said that comfort was not required in the desert? Forget your preconceptions, and let yourself be seduced by the raw and Berber decoration of each tent where wood, reed and thick wool reign. In each space, hot water and electricity will delight the most fearful. No wifi, no heating or air conditioning of course, but a thick sweater and the blankets offered on site are enough to keep us happy once night falls. For gourmets, hearty breakfast based on Moroccan specialties (mint tea, msemen, botbot bread, etc.), fig or orange jams, fruit salad, eggs, pressed juice. And coffee for addicts! For lunch and dinner, compulsory starters and desserts and two tagines served (one vegetarian, the other carnivorous) so as not to make anyone jealous.
3. TO FORGET THE DEFINITION OF BOREDOM
In "Terre des étoiles", it's hard to get bored! You can start your day with a yoga class where on a Berber mat, you learn to relax facing the plains of the Atlas. You can also forget yourself in the expert hands of a masseuse or indulge in breaststroke in one of the camp's two swimming pools. The most athletic will probably try quad biking, mountain biking or hiking, or even a camel ride to enjoy the view. Otherwise, you can also learn about Moroccan cuisine. Or simply chill while sipping a mint tea at the camp bar. In short: at "Terre des étoiles", we don't know about boredom!
